Research on 3 collage artists

Richard Hamilton

Richard Hamilton was born on the 24th February 1922 in Pimlico London, he was known for his collages, paintings and his graphic designs. Richard left school with no qualifications but managed to secure an apprenticeship as an electrician. It was working as an electrician where he discovered his un-discovered talent, painting. His most famous piece of work is the painting below; he named it ‘Just what is it that makes today’s homes so different, so appealing?’

I think it is a funky collage because its got nude statue covering himself with a sweet, it’s as if both statues are posing in the collage for us.
